April 10. Well, we don't get too many duos like the one we're featuring this Friday but we caught their act and decided to offer them the Showcase. THEY are "Another Guitar Duo", also known as the brothers, Jerry Jangles and Johnny Ice. As they put it, they "sprung forth from the loins of the same woman, their birthweight being heavy and heavier". Their favorite color is indigo. Their favorite thing to eat is victory. You're in for a treat with these icy, jangly brothers!Go to their website and give a listen to their bicycle song. You'll see what I mean. See ya at OM@B's!

Happy 2009! Hope we can all experience a less stressful, less strife, more peaceful year with the new change in Washington. And speaking of Washington, Bentley's January 2nd's guest artist has been invited to perform at Barack Obama's Inaugural. Gabriel Ayala's three self-produced albums have obviously caught the attention of a few people "out there". The Arizona Daily Star has just put Gabriel on their "9 To Watch List" and in addition to the great gig in Washington, Gabriel has also been invited to play at the Winter Olympics 2010 in Vancouver, British Columbia For Gabriel's biog, please refer to the December blog here. And again, Best of 2009 from your host/sound engineer/publicist Linda!~~
